Good Morning Hannah!

I have noticed your beautiful blog photo and comments and just wanted to say hello!
I will reserve opinions on the first 2 questions but as to spring cleaning, it is perhaps a relief from cabin fever?
May I inquire if your last post dated truly of March 2011? Or am I not refreshing the link properly?
Much obliged for your kindness however!
May His light shineth upon you and yours always,

-Noelle the dreamer-
P.S. You have been blessed with a beautiful name

I remember when I had an "Ah ha" moment not long after I got married and realized that the government isn't really trying to do what's best for me. We have certain rights (i.e. bearing arms, free speech, etc.) as long as they say that we do, but the moment they want to "pull the plug" all of those "rights" are gone, and we must submit so long as they don't require us to do anything against God's law. I'd say that I was a pretty good public school "product", blindly believing all that I learned. At first, these things made me fearful. However, I realized that I was putting my trust in my government rather than the Lord.

Your post reminded me of these things because we can be tempted to put our trust in so many other things. But all of those things can fail. Ultimately, God is our Rock and our Salvation. Our hope is in Him alone and all that He has done for us in Christ Jesus.

I like to think of it like this...remember in the Old Testament, when Israel would go up against certain cities and set an ambush behind the city? A small portion of the men would go up against the city and then pretend to flee, drawing the men of the city away from it. Then, the ambush would go into the city and set it on fire. When the Israelites turned and saw the city on fire, they would turn back toward the men that were pursuing them and fight, knowing that victory was imminent. I think the cross and resurrection are like that burning city. They remind us that the victory is ours. Keep focusing on our victory, sister!

Yeah... I always wonder the last one especially. ;-) The second one-- not so much. Heh heh. It's so fun to stretch and squish between your fingers!!!!

Juuuuuuuust kidding.... mostly.... I don't think I do that anymore. I don't eat gum very much. So I can't remember. ;-) Okay, okay. It's probably technically not extremely- polite...

Oh yeah, Facebook is a good excuse. (I have to say that, because it is my excuse.)

I know what you mean about posts floating around in your head, possibly trapped forever; if I posted half of the posts that ever made their rounds in my head, I quite possibly could have a goodly-sized book's worth of musings. Sometimes it's better for one to refrain, but in the moment when inspiration, vocabulary, and inclination merge, there is no choice but for the blogger to put finger to key and write.

Keep blogging!
